98 Toledo Cherokee: Welcome

In addition to the on ice activities, Todd Crandell will be speaking to players, coaches, and parents.  Todd grew up as a promising young goalie in Norhwest Ohio.  Todd's own 13-year struggle with drugs and alcohol nearly destroyed his life, devastating relationships with family and friends and shattering the promise of a professional hockey career.  He is now the founder and Executive Director of "Racing for Recovery", with the mission of preventing substance abuse in adolescents and individuals and offering a positive alternative to those currently battling addiction.  Todd regularly speaks to groups and individuals to convey one important message. "With sobriety, anything is possible."  Todd will begin speaking at 11:30 AM at the Ice House.  Todd's subject matter is more geared toward the peewees and bantams and that's why he is scheduled to talk while the younger kids are on the ice.  Please  send RSVP to your Coach by Wednesday, November 11th if they plan to attend.  Thanks!
