Let's Get Ready to PLAY SOFTBALL!!

RAGE Girls Play 9 Games to Finish 2nd

Our 98 RAGE girls played TOUGH all weekend long in Irving.  After losing a tough game on Sunday morning, we played 4 more games back to back until we reached the "Ship."  Even though our players toughed it out, played their best and gave their all, we ended up finishing 2nd to our 98 Rip friends.  Congrats to the Rip girls for winnning the tournament all the way through the winner's bracket and going 5-0 in the tournament.  We are very proud of our girls and the tenacity and perseverance in which they played all weekend.  It says a lot about a team who plays from 9:30am on Sunday to 5:30pm on Sunday without any breaks.  We are VERY proud of you 98 RAGE !!!!

98 RAGE Wins 1st Place in Mansfield

The 98 Flower Mound RAGE went 5-0 in Mansfield's End of Summer 10U tournament on August 16-17.  We thought the rainy weather might disrupt the tournament, but the rain held out until late Sunday evening so everyone was able to finish out the tournament.  Our RAGE girls played 5 games and won each of them.  In fact, 2 games were shut-outs.  Our pitchers were on fire, our defense was sound and our offense picked up from the first to last games.  Not only did these RAGE players play a great softball tournament, they had  FUN!!  While waiting for one of our opponents to get ready and play, our RAGE girls were playing air guitar to "Welcome to the Jungle."  Each of the players were using their bats as guitars and rocking out!  That is what girls' softball is all about - HAVING FUN!  When girls are having fun, they play better as a team.  We are so proud of the 98 RAGE players and coaches for bringing home our 1st place trophy - it was well deserved.

Welcome to the '98 Flower Mound RAGE website.  We are a 10U Select Softball Team based out of the North Central area in the DFW Metroplex.  Our girls have predominantly '98 birthdays , and this fall we have our sites set on becoming one of the best in 10U. 

We believe in competing hard, having fun, enjoying the game and each other, and our family atmosphere makes it the best team that we all choose to be a part of.  Our roster is filled with talented girls dedicated to the high ideals of youth sports like having fun, developing our skills, competing hard, and giving all we've got all the time in the name of competition and sportsmanship. 

Now that we have ended our Spring/Summer '08 campaign with an appearance at USFA Western Nationals, we know that we have played hard, gotten dirty and won some hardware!  We are on the lookout for more trophies and victories,  so more to come from the 98 RAGE. . . ..
