2006 Team Picture
Welcome to the home of the U10 Thoroughbreds. We are one of two select girls' U10 teams with the Thoroughbred Soccer Club in Buckner, KY, just outside of Louisville. Highlights include 2007 State Cup Finalists, 2006-07 KSSL 1st place (Fall & Spring), 2006 Lexington Invitational Champions, 2006 Mockingbird Invitational Champions, 2006 KY State Cup Finalists, 2006 Derby Cup Champions, 2005 United Cup Champions, 2005 Bluegrass Cup Finalists, 2005-06 Kentucky Select Soccer League 2nd place (Fall & Spring).

Eurosport Cup Update

Although the final result was disappointing, the girls played some of their best soccer of the season during the first three games of the State Cup, particularly on defense where we didn't allow a goal for the first three games, outscoring our opponents by a combined score of 20-0. We held FC KY to only 4 shots after allowing 22 shots in a game against them 2 weeks ago. In the championship, LFC simply played much better soccer, particularly in the first half as their speed made us look slow and kept us back on our heels. We showed some sparks at the beginning of the 2nd half, but gradually wore out as the game went on, losing by a score of 3-1.
