March 15th and 16th, 2008 - Boerne City Park
The girls had two teams compete at the annual 6v6 benefit tournament and came away with a 1st and 3rd place finish. We enjoy playing at this tournament and encourage other area soccer teams to make plans to participate at the worth while spring competition.

The 93' Storm played at the Boerne 6v6 this past weekend. Several players were under the weather and some had basketball tournaments to attend Saturday morning and were not able to play in the first game, not mention some members of the team were still recovering from injuries they had incurred. Although the odds seemed stacked against the girls before the tournament even started the team came out on top. On Friday it was revealed that the team would play 4 games on Saturday, 5 if they made it to the final match. Soooo many games in such a short time!!! The girls pushed through it and ended up playing their 5th game and taking home first! WOW. Congratulations on pulling together and bringing home 1st place yet again!

93 STORM GOES UNDEFEATED AT THE 14TH ANNUAL GEORGETOWN INVITATIONAL- Feb 10, 2007
This proved to be a good opportunity to see the girls come together and put into play their weeks of practice and training. They came into the tournament with the odds against them with only 10 players during the first 2 1/2 games. The team had a long term defensive player quit on Friday and lost Mikaylah to a wrist injury that occurred during practice. Two guest players, Courtney and Mercedes, were recruited to join us at the tournament and did a great job. THE TEAM CAME TOGETHER TO PLAY THE BEST 4 GAMES WEVE SEEN IN AWHILE!
Saturday the girls finished undefeated and went into the Championship game on Sunday ready to play the Silver Cyclones a second time. They won the championship game and came away undefeated for the entire tournament. It was an AWESOME weekend for the girls, their coach and of course their parents.
Tournament results:
SVSC STORM-2 vs. RANGERS 93 DII-1
SVSC STORM- 3 vs. 93 SILVER CYCLONE-0
SVSC STORM-6 vs. CCU WOLVERINES- 1
SVSC STORM-3 vs. 93 SILVER CYCLONE-0

The mighty Storm took 1st place at the AAYSA Labor Day Tournament this past weekend. Congratulations!!! Kudos to Melissa for making her first game winning goals!!!!! Melanie also performed very well by saving nearly everything that was kicked or thrown her way, this great goalie was scored on only once! Everyone played tough during every game. Thank you girls for playing so hard this weekend. You deserve your 1st place win! The scores were as follow:
Storm v. Classics White: 1-0
Patriots v. Storm: 0-3
Storm v. Rapids: 2-0
Storm v. Hotshots: 1-1
That makes two tournament without a loss girls. Great job!!! We would also like to thank Christina and Abigail from the Fire for joining us for this tournament. You two were great. Missed you Tay!
