| Jim has secured a field in his subdivision (South of Elliot between Val Vista and Greenfield in Gilbert) The calendar section of this website has a link to mapquest. The field is located in the NWC of the big park across Columbus from Finley Farms Elementary. It is the field with permanent goals in place. MONDAY WEDNESDAY FRIDAY from 6:00 - 7:30 starting Monday July 16 up to Surf Cup. |

We have booked 3 nights Friday august 3, Saturday August 4, Sunday August 5. Room rates are $199.00 per night. Our first game was at 3pm Saturday so there is a possiblity of driving in on Saturday and only booking 2 nights.

I hope al is well for you...
I am emailing you to let you know that we will be conducting a high school age camp for female soccer players this November in Tuscon. We will bring in 8 - 12 college coaches to work with the players. We conduct 6 of these a year in southern California (Where Players Play College Camp) and they are very well received by youth players as well as the college coaches.
The dates for this camp are set for Friday November 14 - Sunday November 16. The itinerary looks like this:
Friday November 14
5:45pm - 6:00pm - players check in
6:00pm - training session begins (TOPIC: POSSESION)
7:30pm - training session concludes
7:40pm - 11 v 11 game
8:50pm - game concludes
9:00pm - college coach Q & A
9:30pm - players depart
Saturday November 15
9:45am - 10:00am - players check in
10:00am - training session begins (TOPIC: DEFENDING)
11:30am - training session concludes
11:40am - 11 v 11 game
12:50pm - game concludes
1:00pm - college coach Q & A
1:30pm - players depart
7:00pm - 11 v 11 game
Sunday November 16
9:45am - 10:00am - players check in
10:00am - training session begins (TOPIC: ATTACKING)
11:30am - training session concludes
11:40am - 11 v 11 game

1:00pm - college coach Q & A

Players are placed in groups of 18 (individual or team) and are assigned to a college coach. That coach takes them thru the session to the assigned topic. At the end of the session the college coach then coaches his team versus another team in a 70 minute match.
This allows the youth player to be seen directly by a coach in a session and game and also allows the player to be seen by the opposing coach during the game. For this camp we have added a Saturday night game at 7:00pm.
At the end of the camp the player has been trained by 3 different college coaches and seen by 6+. Usually we have different coaches working the sessions so many times a coach who is not assigned to work an afternoon or morning session will come and watch a session...more eyes on the player.....
The cost for this camp is $265.00 per player or if a team comes (14 or more players) the rate drops to $225.00 per player.
I have just started to assemble the staff and have confirmed University San Francisco (Marc Carr). We will end up with 8 - 12 college coaches. We will fill up and more than likely have to turn away players. We will have capacity for 72 - 80 players. This is not a lot of space - there are a few teams that are coming in in their entirety which will reduce individual spaces available. AN ON-LINE APPLICATION IS AVAILABLE AT WWW.WHEREPLAYERSPLAY.COM
