The team has been around since 1991 and was founded by a poor University student named Trevais who craved excitement.
Although we do not know how he chose 69ers as the team name, we do know that it certainly stands out!
Over the years the team has played in many different leagues and has had many different players.
Through it all the one thing that has remained constant is that this team ALWAYS has fun!
For the past few years we have played in the "Grasswood" league, which is on a privately owned diamond south of Saskatoon.
Due to numerous reasons the league was shut down in 2000 and in 2001 we played in the "Hop House" league. Although we had a great time, "Grasswood" remains our main league and we are happy to that it is back.
