2009-2010 Basketball Season

5-Star Basketball puts an emphasis on fun, participation, learning and good sportsmanship! Teams are put together based on ages, skill level and location.

Space is limited; players are accepted on a first-come basis. 

Registration- September 1st through the *November 6th

Location: The 5-Star Hall, located at 156^th ST & 128^th ST, Renton WA  

Fees:

2^nd – 3^rd Grades:       $59.00           

 4^th – 5^th Grades:        $69.00           

6^th- 8th Grades:         $79.00

Online registration fees not included.

 Season Info

Mandatory skills assessment scheduled for 2 nights October 21 and October 28.  4^th – 5^th Grades 6 PM 6th– 8^th Grades, 7:30 PM

Practices & Games: Each team practices 2 nights a week, weeknights only, November - mid February. Games begin in January. Schedules will be determined by the beginning of November.
Locations: Briarwood, Apollo, Maywood M.S., Maplewood Heights, Newcastle 

5 Star has adopted a new policy for the management of concussion and head injury in youth sports; “The Lystedt Law” Requires coaches and parents to sign a waver indication they have read and agree with the mandatory policies for the management of concussions and head injuries as prescribed by HB 1824, section 2. You can find the Concussion in Youth Sports fact sheet in the Handouts section.

Volunteers Coaches Needed

5-Star is fully dependant on, and would not be able to function without our outstanding and dedicated volunteer coaches. The size of the program is based on the number of coaches. All new or returning coaches must complete a background check and attend a mandatory coaches meeting.
