DON'T WAIT - FALL BALL REGISTRATION IS NOW!!!!!!
Deadline is July 2nd
No late registration
Practice begins August 13th
Come play some great end of summer early fall games.
The Bronco Division Fall Ball Team will play double headers on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's games will be through Maple Valley PONY Baseball. Saturday games will be at Maple Valley or CVAC. Maple Valley PONY games are instructional. Grasp of basics and taking time out to teach skills is the important part of fall ball. On Sundays the games will be played through Field of Champions. Sunday games are COMPETITIVE.
The team will also play a tournament in Lacey over Labor Day Weekend and will try to pick up games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices and pick up games will be at Hazen High School.
The Fall Ball Jamboree is the highlight of the season in Maple Valley PONY Fall Ball. A short game and BBQ with a home run derby are always a blast! This year, Field of Champions teams are playing for First and Second Place Medals! These games are competitive all the way up to the last out!
Fall Ball will consist of approximately 20 games + pick up games + Labor Day Tournament. This is more games than spring season teams get to play. Cost is $395. Players receive two jerseys and two hats (Maple Valley PONY for Saturday & Field of Champions for Sunday) a belt and pair of sox. Baseball pants are not provided The 2008 Fall ball team played 23 games! Only 4 were rained out. The team took 2nd place at Field of Champions (and 1st Place against the Maple Valley teams (although those are not competitive games and no records are kept)).
A desire to play and time commitment are all that is needed. Beginning players are just as welcome as experienced players. All players play every game regardless of ability. Female players are welcome. The 2008 Maple Valley PONY 12U Fall Ball Home Run Derby winner was female! CVAC always has female players and Maple Valley usually has 1 or 2 female players for fall ball. Beginning in September the team will receive one hour of batting practice at Field of Champions batting cages in Preston.
Pinto and Mustang Teams are welcome to play; however, a coach and full roster is necessary prior to registration. Cost for Mustang players is $90 and for Pinto players $75. Pinto and Mustang teams may have Friday night games rather than double headers on Friday.
Individuals can register to play in either Maple Valley PONY or Field of Champions Fall Ball and asked to be placed on the Five Star Team if space is avialable. Individual bronco division registrants may be invited to join the team over Labor Day Weekend, but are not guaranteed a roster spot.

***Covered areas at our schools can be used for dry practices and are available on a first-come basis. They cannot be reserved or held, and are not meant for just the teams scheduled at those fields. When possible, try to share your space and limit your time there if another team is waiting. If everybody works together, everybody wins!***

********** GENERAL INFORMATION ************
REMINDER***SCHOOL PARKING: We've received a reminder from the Issaquah School District that parking in designated Fire lanes or on playgrounds is not allowed. Violators are subject to ticketing and/or towing. We had a group of parents receive tickets @ one of our sites for parking in marked fire lanes!
REMINDER***MAPLE HILLS PARKING: We've received a reminder from the Issaquah School District that parking is not allowed in the back of Maple Hills Elementary on the playground (even if you're just unloading equipment). An onsite daycare uses the playground until 6:30 pm, so it is very unsafe for people to drive onto the playground. You may park around the back by the gym, but all gates will be locked @ 4:15.
REMINDER***RENTON SCHOOL DISTRICT RULES: 5-star teams are not allowed to use any of the Hazen or Maplewood fields on weekdays before 5:30 pm.
REMINDER***NO SMOKING ON SCHOOL PROPERTY: Please remember when we're playing at Apollo, Briarwood, Hazen, Hazelwood, etc., that smoking is prohibited on school property, which includes the ballfields for after-school activities.
