Hockey fans:
Keep an eye here if you plan to attend the 'Logan Couture 2012 charity hockey game', to be held over the August 11th weekend in Lucan Ontario. Full details TBA soon, but we are most likely playing a "4on4" game format. Game tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday August 11th in Lucan. Player autographs to be held prior to game time in the arena auditorium.
Professional players from the area will play in the game, including a number of other quality NHL players and draft-picks, possibly including some notable OHL and NCAA players. The list of players will be updated as the game draws nearer.

Congrats to our "3on3 Hockey International" tourney alumni (our son) Logan Couture for being named as a 2012 NHL all-star game participant. Logan played his minor hockey for many years with the Lucan 'DD' Irish of the OMHA, then played in the Alliance 'AAA' for a few years before joining the Jr. B St. Thomas Stars as a 15 year-old. Logan was voted in as a starter for 'Team Canada' at the 2010 AHL all-star game and named to the AHL 2009-10 all-rookie team. He also participated in the 2011 NHL All-star Skills challenge as a captain for the rookie squad on Team Staal, winning 9 out of 10 points versus Taylor Halls rookie squad on Team Lidstrom. Logan was named to the NHL 2010-11 All-Rookie team as well.
Congrats to tournament alumni and family friend Drew Doughty who was the 2nd over-all pick by Los Angeles Kings in the 2008 NHL entry draft, and has had tremendous success at every level.

NOTE: Due to an upcoming major surgery planned for the first of March, I will be unable to do the requisite work in order to operate a tournament this year. We do apologize for this, but have no other choice.

Chet, & Lori

Alumni Memorials:
Jalen DAY 1993-2005: The Couture family wish to constantly pay tribute to the memory of young Jalen Day of Watford who passed away in 2005. Parents David & Rhonda, brother Jordan and all their family members suffered a truly tragic loss with his passing.
Jalen was an alumni who we are extremely proud of knowing, and he had valiantly fought a personal battle to overcome cancer. Jalen was always smiling and had a tremendous demeanor and attitude, he never quit. He was a shining example of a great person for all of us. Jalen, you are still sorely missed and always remembered by many, including all of us here at 3on3 Hockey International.
Other tournament alumni who entered their teams into our tournaments who have sadly passed away include Pete Wild & Charlie Bayliff, who will also always be remembered by us for their admirable sportsmanship & loyalty to their children, their players and our events.
