Congratulations to our very own "3on3 Hockey International alumni" (our son) Logan Couture for being selected in the 1st round 9th overall in the 2007 NHL entry draft by the San Jose Sharks. After attending the Sharks early July prospect camp Logan signed a 3-year entry-level contract with the Sharks.
Logan played his minor hockey for many years with the Lucan 'DD' Irish, then played 'AAA' for a few years with London Jr. Knights before joining the WOHL Jr. B St. Thomas Stars as a 15 year-old. Good luck in the future Logan, we are very proud of you!
Next up: Former tournament alumni and family friend Drew Doughty, expected to be a high 1st-round pick in the 2008 NHL entry draft!
Also congratulations to another fine "3on3 Hockey International" alumni Andy McDonald of Strathroy Ont., star centre of the St. Louis Blues, and formerly of the Anaheim Ducks 2007 Stanley Cup champions! Andy is a terrific young man who represents his community very well.
The tournament entry form can be found at the bottom of this page, or in the 'Handouts' link at the left margin. Click on it to download.
NOTE: For comparison purposes, there was a competitor operating a 3on3 tournament In Fort Erie in May '07 who offered a 4-game guarantee for $500 per team, and those games were only 20 minutes in length. Another operator in Milton Ont. offered a 2007 March break tournament with a 3-game guarantee for $500 per team, and another in Edmonton offers a 6-game guarantee but only 15 minute length games, for $775 per team.
Play in the tournament events operated by '3on3 Hockey International' as we initiated youth 3 on 3 ice hockey tournaments in Ontario, now in our 11th straight year of continued growth in 2007. Many leagues throughout the province have been created from our original youth tournament concept hatched in 1997.
IMPORTANT: A reminder to all teams to be as accurate as possible when detailing the level of your players & birth years of same. On occasion we will mix birth years within the same divisions, as we are genuinely trying to create balanced divisions skill-wise. Your co-operation in providing accuracy about the skill-level of your team is vital and is very much appreciated. Nobody enjoys blow-out games at all. Let's strive for honest, good competition please!
3 on 3 Hockey International has been hosting the biggest & best "3 on 3" full-ice hockey tourneys since 1997. We have grown to the point that in our 2007 tournaments we had a total of well over 700 teams (over 7,000 players) in many various divisions including girls & women's divisions. We have had teams/players from Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Hull Quebec & from all over Ontario. The WORLD'S LARGEST 3 on 3 hockey tournaments!
Non contact, fast-paced full-ice action for teams of up to 9 skaters & a goalie. Entry fee STILL only $400 per team in 2008 and a 4-game guarantee with prizes awarded to winners, with more games possible in the larger pools of teams per division.
Divisions offered are: All girls levels & ages and youth age groups from 2001 - 1990 in both competitive & house league levels, Womens Open; Mens elite/open; Mens Rec A & B; Mens Over 35.
Tournaments are on weekends throughout April/early May & in late August, just after & prior to the normal winter hockey season. Enter teams of friends, winter or summer team-mates, or neighborhood buddies.

Jalen DAY 1993-2005: The Couture family wish to convey our most sincere sympathies and condolences which go out to the family & friends of young Jalen Day of Watford who passed away in 2005. Parents David & Rhonda, brother Jordan and all their family members suffered a truly tragic loss with his passing.
Jalen was a 3on3 Hockey Int. alumni who we are extremely proud of knowing, and he had valiantly fought a personal battle to overcome cancer. Jalen was always smiling and had a tremendous demeanor and attitude, he never quit. He was a shining example of a great person for all of us. Jalen, you will be sorely missed by many including all of us here at 3on3 Hockey International.
