2nd Wind Track Club: Welcome

Welcome to the new 2nd Wind Track Club Home Page!  Our USATF Club number is 59-0116 & our team password for Coach "O" meet registration is 1255. Call me, Coach Harry (631)965-3175 for more info!  Very Very Important: The 2010 Indoor Track season is under way! Athletes who want to prepare for the Indoor Track season are welcome as we are a year round track & field program. However, we are currently taking registration for the Fall Jr. Olympic Cross Country & Winter Track season! We are looking for athletes in all age groups from 7-70. There is also a Pee Wee age group for kids to compete under 7. If you have any Registration questions then contact our Registration Chairwomen Jen Savickis at 631-663-3656.

"VERY VERY IMPORTANT": We are in dire need for our parents to go to there local school offices and pick up the papers we need to file for a permit to use the High School Track if you'd like us to practice in your town, and also apply for our organization to be able to solicit information to their schools about our club, especially in Bay Shore!

"Important Updates Read the following" "PARENTS AND ATHLETES" Fall Cross Country season is in full swing and we are in full recruitment mode for both Cross Country and Winter Track and Field. Parents who have asked me about Running Shoes and Racing Shoes for their children please read the following! Our 2nd Wind Club members recieve a 20% discount at our Uniform sponsors Schwabs 2nd Wind store in Setauket. Ask for Harold and tell them Coach Harry sent you for personalized expert service! Parents, please don't forget that it is time to re-register your child for the 2010 USA Track and Field year. Remember, that is their insurance coverage for Track. You can register your child on line or down load a form and give me either cash or a check for $19.95 made out to USA Track and Field or USATF. Also, we are collecting Club dues for the 2010 year of $20. All members please print out the 2010 Team Registration information update form in our hanouts section, complete and hand in to Jennifer Savickis with your registration fee. Adult USATF memberships are also available following same instructions for $29.95. That is separate from the USATF fee and will go to operating costs such as web-site and Domain rental, Data Base, Track and Field Equipment, Office supplies, Practice Insurance Registration, Team Registrations and Indoor Rental space. We are also Incorporating the Club and registering the Club as a non profit 501 3-C organization. We will then be allowed to accept donations and donors we be able to write the donations off on their tax's. Please print out a copy of the receipt if you register online. Please give me a copy of the card if you receive it in the mail. Those who have not submitted a birth certificate please do so. We only have to do that once and your child will be age verified forever! Thank you all.
