Lincoln Warriors Wrestling Club: Welcome
LINCOLN WARRIORS WRESTLING CLUB
THE TRADITION CONTINUES...
PROUD to be the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Huskerland State Champions!
2008 and 2009 Huskerland 3rd Place Finishes!
Welcome all to the 2009-20010 season!
If you are a returning Warrior, you should find a degree of comfort in the familiarity of the program! Some changes have been made in an attempt to improve. In over 28 years of building youth, the Warriors have established themselves as a quality program deserving of respect from both outside the club as well as within. We want to challenge you to set goals if improvement in all aspects of developing your character, fitness, technique and confidence.
If you are a new Warrior, we hope that your experience is one that benefits everyone involved, especially your young athlete.
Warriors are now accepting registrations for the following:
Warrior Pee Wee Session: targeted for age 4 thru 2nd grade beginning wrestlers. The Warrior Pee Wee session continues to be a stellar introduction to wrestling! The Pee Wee Session runs November and December and concludes with the annual “Singlets, Snacks and Santa Claus” night. This special event showcases the Pee Wees with a mock tournament complete with weigh-ins, bracket assignments, family spectators, referee elves, medals, holiday snacks, a gift exchange and a special visit by Santa!
Warrior Conditioning Session: appropriate for both a beginner, as well as a more experienced wrestler in grades 3-8. The Warrior Conditioning Session runs November and December with an intent to get each wrestler “back to basics”. Warriors extend invitation to other area clubs/wrestlers to join-in during this session. The vision is to build a community of wrestlers with an “iron sharpens iron” approach. Warrior wrestlers also receive FREE session opportunities at the Devaney Center with University of Nebraska coaches and wrestlers by combining selected practice nights with Nebraska Extreme. This scheduling combination affords a competitive wrestler an advantage unique to the Warrior program.

This session runs during the months of January, February, March and into April.

More information will be posted later, check back in December.
Each Session $50.00, AAU card required for Competive and Conditioning Sessions
At the Warriors, winning is not the most important outcome. Focus, effort and perseverance are! Wrestlers deal with disappointments, successes, and being pushed to seek new individual goals! This is an aggressive and competitive arena in which we participate.
Warriors are encouraged to look for success in the process as we challenge ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We look forward to the next step of the journey with you and your wrestler!
Success is not a destination, it is a JOURNEY!
