2000 Texas Glory: Welcome

Our newest Glory squad is led by Phillip McCloud. The team is part of the Texas Glory Fast-pitch Organization, based in McKinney,TX. Phillip has been coaching fast-pitch for over 10 years. He has coached teams at the 16U & 18U Gold level and led our 2011 14U squad to 7th at Premier Nationals; they were the last non-California team playing. After completing tryouts, the team has been improving consistently. A group of talented young athletes from all over North Texas (Leonard, Merit, Howe, Roanoke, Sulphur Springs,Whitesboro, Pottsboro, Lavon and McKinney), they have lots of speed and continue to bond and work hard. Phillip is assisted by John Grimes and Ken Pendergrass. Starting in Jan. 2012 the coaching staff will be joined by 2007 Glory Alum Sarah McCloud. Sarah pitched twice in the CWS with Georgia and will graduate in Dec.
