The Syracuse Stars AAA Youth Hockey Organization was named one of the top programs in the Untied States for developing talent according to The Hockey News ( March 4th Edition). According to a study conducted by The Hockey News a panel of experts from both the United States and Canada ranked the Stars 10th in its first-ever ranking of the top prep programs in America. The criteria used by The Hockey News included the quality of alumni graduated to major junior, the NCAA, the AHL, the NHL, as well as success at tournaments.
