Saturday, September 15 Jr. Gamblers Start Year Off With a Win On Saturday September 15th, the Squirt Majors started their year off with a 4-2 win over the Keweenaw Storm. The afternoon matinee saw an exciting game between the two clubs that ended in a 7-7 tie. The Jr. Gambler Squirts next game is Friday September 21st in Detroit against the Oakland Grizzlies at the Compuware/Honeybaked Tournament. Sunday, September 9 The Season Starts Monday night September 10th will mark the start of the 2007-08 Jr. Gambler hockey season. We will have practice at 5:30 pm along with picture night. The team will practice again on Wednesday in preparation for their first game on Saturday September 15th against the Keweenaw Storm from Houghton, MI. The Jr. Gamblers will play a pair of games on Saturday against the Storm starting at 10am and again at 1pm at Cornerstone Community Center. Tuesday, July 24 New Website for Squirt Gamblers Launched July 24th, 2007 marked the launch of the new website for the Squirt Jr. Gamblers. Watch for frequent updates as this team starts to prepare for the 2007-08 hockey season. |
