2003 Spring Champions
Our first Glendale championship. Wednesday C league. Playoff game against
World Champions was a easy 23 to 9 win. Championship game against She Let Me Play was a little tougher but a 22 to 12 victory.
2002 SUMMER CHAMPIONS
We leave Pasadena Champions. After six years playing league ball in Pasadena we're moving to Glendale. Our record: six championships and four second place finishes.
The championship game was a battle with Goodfellas. A back and forth game with neither team leading by more than three runs until the last inning when we went ahead 26 to 20. Put Goodfellas down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the seventh to pull off an upset victory.
All the Rowdie players gave 110% to the championship.

An open letter to all Rowdies
First I want to apologize for tonight's misunderstanding about whether a game was to be played. After three days of no rain and Karl playing on field 2 last night, I never even considered that we wouldn't have a game. After I got home and called MLS there was a message on the field condition hot line that the fields were not playable. If this was so, why were the field chalked and prepped for play. The message was made at 3:00. I can't believe that Cathy and Raul, the Pasadena league director, didn't have the courtesy to call the managers and inform us of this. It is interesting that they were able to inform their scorekeeper and umpire of the cancellation. I will call MLS tomorrow and vent my anger. I'm going to request that they refund tonight's league fee and still schedule a make up game. I'm loosing my desire to play in Pasadena and maybe we should look at Glendale on Wed nights as an alternative league. I'm also going to contact Pasadena Park and Recreation and inform them of the poorly run program that MLS provides.
Again I sorry that this happened. I know all of you took time, left work early or drove quite a distance to make it to the game. The Rowdies have been together for six years and I'm not going to let that tradition cease, even if it means going to another city and league.
Next weeks game is scheduled for 7:45, field 2 and we're playing a new team, Disorderlies. Hope to see you then.
2001 FALL CHAMPIONS
A great win over McMurphys. After they beat us twice this season we knew we had a tough game to play. We jumped on them at the start of the game and with great defense and timely hitting we held them off for a 27 to 23 victory. Everyone on the team had key plays that contributed to the win
2001 SPRING CHAMPIONS
It was a close win 20 to 19 over the Budsters. Winning run scored in the bottom of the 7th with 2 out. Great season. 10 and 1
