14U Breakers Black

Celebrating 11 Years of
Championship FastPitch Softball !

Thank you for visiting the Breakers Black website. The Breakers Black team is comprised of girls born in 1994. In 2008 we are a 5th year team and will be in the 14U middle school division. The Breakers Black team will participate in PONY and select invitational tournaments throughout the Northeast, Mid and North Atlantic regions. As always the Breakers will compete in the most competitive environments to further our players fastpitch development.

The Breakers organization was founded in August 1997 to provide a positive athletic environment for young female athletes.  Each athlete is coached to be part of the team and to recognize the importance of hard work and sacrifice, teamwork and good sportmanship. The Stratford Breakers provide an opportunity for girls who wish to elevate their fastpitch softball skills to a higher level so they may succesfully compete in their high school and college softball programs.

The Stratford Breakers have enjoyed tremendous success year after year since 1997 with dozens and dozens of tournament championships at every team level.

Come give us a look and see why,

It All Starts Here!

Breakers and Central Mass Thunder Slug It Out in Mirage Madness Championship
awesome

The # 4 Breakers earned runners-up honors at the CT Mirage Spring Madness tournament against the # 2 Central Mass Thunder 6-5.

In route to the final the Breakers beat the # 1 seed CT Bombers 13-1. The Breakers defense was sharp and the girls used a balanced offensive attack as they pounded the ball from start to finish sending the top seed home. The championship game was everything one would hope for. In an exciting finish with the Breakers down by 3 runs they battled back in the top of the 7th to get within 1 run but the Thunder defense put an end to the Breakers threat. The final score Central Mass Thunder 6, Breakers 5

The Breakers played great defense and hit the ball hard all weekend racking up 4 homeruns, 3 triples and 6 doubles.  Congratulations to the 14U Breakers Black team for reaching the championship game two tournaments in a row. You treated your fans, families and coaches to a unbelievable game, it'll be one to remember!

GREAT JOB BREAKERS !
