Willamette Valley Fastpitch takes First in Keizer
 Keizer, OR — The Willamette Valley Fastpitch 12U girls softball team captured first place in the silver division at the 2nd Annual Lady Celt Invitational in Keizer, May 30-31. The team swept the bracket on Sunday, defeating Sherwood Fireballs 8-2, Keizer Lady Celts 14-2 and Washington Hornets 14-4 behind the pitching of Ashley Martinez, Alyssa Lindemann and Mackenzie Minten.
Team members include: Elizabeth Perez, Alyssa Lindemann, Ashley Imes, Emma Lindemann, Maygen McGrath, Rachel Wilhite, Justine Maggi, McKenna Culpepper, Jasmine Ernest, Katelyn Esther, Mackenzie Minten and Ashley Martinez.
Coaches are: Jim Culpepper, Keith McGrath and Mike Ernest.

First Tournament of 2009
First 12U Tournament of the season and the girls go 3-2 for the weekend.
We could not have asked for better weather, it was a great weekend for softball.
