Welcome to the official website of the 2008/2009 11u Georgia Roadrunners! We are a competitive 11u team that plays out of Roadrunner Field in Alpharetta, GA.  Roadrunner Field is a private field located at 13600 Cogburn Road in Alpharetta, GA.

Go Roadrunners!!!

In the rankings released on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd TravelballSelect.com honored the Roadrunners in their end of the years final rankings.   When the rankings were released the Roadrunners were listed on the Honorable Memtions list, just outside of the top 25. 

This is something the boys should all be proud of.  You once again represented yourselfs and the program very well.  And now TBS has honored you for it.  Way to go Roadrunners!!!

The "Big" (17u) Roadrunners just won their 3rd National Championship in 4 years as they won the 18u Triple Crown Summer Nationals at Myrtle Beach, SC.

The Roadrunners finished up their 2008 season by taking 2nd at the AAYBA World Series in St Louis, MO. 

On the week the Roadrunners would go undefeated until the championship game going 6-0, scoring 64 runs and only giving up 15 runs. 

In the championship we played the Mac-n-Seitz Redsox from Kansas City, MO.  It was a slugfest that the Roadrunners just came up a little short in with the Redsox winning 10 - 8. 

We are very proud of all of you!  You all played with good sportsmanship and represented yourselfs, the Roadrunners and Georgia very well. 

The Roadrunners played in the Triple Crown State tournament June 6 - 8 at Wills Park.  The Roadrunners went undefeated in pool play and earned the #1 overall seed in the bracket.  The Roadrunners outscored their opponents 40 - 14 in pool play. 

After pool play we were slated to play the Sandy Plains Wildcats.  It was a hard fought game that went extra innings with the Roadrunners coming out on top 8 - 7.  That win pitted us against the always tough Kennesaw Xtreme in the finals.  After another classic battle between our two teams the Roadrunner came out on top 4-3 and the Triple Crown State Champions!!!!
