Friday, February 1 WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS SPORT? Boys lacrosse requires that you have a helmet, mouthguard, shoulderpads, elbow pads, rib pads (optional), gloves, cup, spikes (lacrosse, football or soccer), and stick.
Girls only require eye protection, spikes, and stick.
As for the new turf field the same spikes you use on grass work great on artificial turf, too.
Equipment can be purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods, LaxWorld, Sports Her Way, or Play It Again Sports in Ellicott City.
Play It Again Sports has a great selection of new and used lacrosse equipment and offers a 10% discount if you mention Catonsville Lacrosse.
